Derby County news LIVE – Lawrence sends relegation message, fans joke about Clooney claims

Predict the Derby County Championship break-in and see what the final table looks like
The weekend’s results left Derby County eight points from safety in the Championship with seven games remaining. As they drew 1-1 with Coventry City, Reading’s home victory over Blackburn Rovers widened the gap between the Rams and the exit from the relegation places.
Derby’s remaining fixtures are: Preston North End (h), Swansea City (a), Fulham (h), Queens Park Rangers (a), Bristol City (h), Blackpool (a), Cardiff City (h).
The scale of the task is clear but nothing can be ruled out in the Championship. Every game, for every team, looks tough and is tough, and Wayne Rooney, his team, the players and the fans will go all the way.
The Rams have been solid at home this season, but they’ve struggled on the road. They have lost just one of their last nine games at Pride Park Stadium, although they have dropped five points in their last three at home – losing to Millwall and drawing with Coventry City. Only seven teams have picked up more points at home in the Championship this season than Derby.
However, they have the third-worst away record in the league, having won only two of 20 matches. Only Peterborough United (8) and Barnsley (7) have fewer away points than Derby’s 12. The Rams are on a seven-game away losing streak – eight if you count the FA Cup exit at Coventry in January.
So how will the run-in go for Derby? And what will the final table look like? HERE you can access our league predictor and share with us what your final table looks like.
