ALMERIA will mark World Tourism Day on Monday September 27 with free entry to its museums.
Visitors to Almeria will be offered free tickets to eight museums for three days from September 25-27 to mark World Tourism Day.
Almeria’s municipal councilor for tourism, Carlos Sanchez, broke the news.
He said: “This is a great opportunity to get to know AlmerÃa’s enormous cultural and historical heritage and to enjoy the many possibilities the city has to offer for free.”
He added: âWe have made every effort to lengthen the days and opening hours to allow Almeria residents and tourists to get to know our wide range better. “
Although tickets are free, it will be necessary to pre-register at museums that usually charge, including Civil War Shelters, the Cinema House, and the Guitar Museum.
Free tickets can be picked up at museums.
Other museums included in the free event are the Heritage Interpretation Center, the Espacio 2 Art Museum, the âDoña Pakytaâ Art Museum and the Poet’s House.
