Large-scale deployment planned to start in July

Detroit, Michigan, June 22, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions, Inc., (OTCPK:AITX), today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Robotic Assistance Devices, Inc. (RAD) has received a Letter of Intent from a regional casino operator for a large amount of RAD devices. The expected receipt of this order had already been confirmed in a press release at the end of April this year.

The company said the letter of intent is for a minimum of 12 ROSA security units, 1 SCOT fixed tower and 1 ROAMEO mobile security robot. The agreement is structured in such a way as to allow the customer to increase the number of units on order without having to re-engage their purchasing process. Deployments are expected to begin in July 2022. Customer may choose to be identified in the future and participate in a case study as the RAD devices will be in public view.

“Perseverance pays. At RAD, we grind until we get the win,” said Mark Folmer, President of RAD. “This client has certainly done their due diligence. I have great respect for their partner qualification process. We followed similar procedures to ensure that each box is checked when a customer views RAD.

“It will be a terrific deployment,” said Steve Reinharz, CEO of AITX and RAD. “It’s a perfect commercial deployment, with multiple ROSAs keeping tabs on the facility and their guests, a SCOT at the main entrance providing valuable information and security, and a ROAMEO on patrol between the parking structure and the main entrance. We anticipate that these quantities could double in the coming months, at this site alone.”

RAD’s parent company, AITX, has applied for OTCQB listing. Future announcements will be made regarding the status of the OTCQB application.

ROSA is a compact, self-contained, portable, security and communications solution that can be deployed in approximately 15 minutes. Like other RAD solutions, it only requires power as it includes all the necessary communication hardware. ROSA’s AI-powered security analytics include person and vehicle detection, license plate recognition, responsive digital signage and audio messaging, plus full integration with software suite notification of RAD and the stand-alone response library. Two-way communication is optimized for cellular, including live video from ROSA’s two high-resolution, color, always-on cameras. RAD has released two case studies detailing how ROSA has helped eliminate instances of theft, trespassing and vagrancy at rental car agencies and construction sites across the country.

ROAMEO is a mobile security robot that stands nearly 7 feet tall and weighs over 700 pounds. ROAMEO is designed to autonomously patrol a property or periphery and monitor its surroundings, perform routine patrols, record and report to the central command center. The security bot’s two 18.5-inch web-connected touchscreens provide customizable information and concierge services to guests it may encounter while on patrol.

SCOT (Security Control Observation Tower) is 7 feet tall and capable of autonomously performing many tasks that a manned post would perform, but at a fraction of the cost. SCOT can be positioned to monitor and record both human and vehicle activity in any environment, indoors or outdoors. SCOT includes the ability to initiate emergency calls to remote monitoring personnel with two-way audio and video communications. In the event of an imminent threat or an actual emergency, the guest would press the CALL SECURITY button on the unit. Immediately, they will be greeted by a remote monitoring officer who can then activate additional alarms on the devices and dispatch local security personnel or law enforcement. SCOT’s concierge and customer engagement functions through its large, web-enabled touchscreen will provide timely and welcoming information services to customers.

Robotic Assistance Devices (RAD) is a high-tech start-up that offers robotics and artificial intelligence-based solutions that enable organizations to gain new knowledge, solve complex security problems and fuel new new business ideas at reduced costs. RAD has developed its advanced security robot technology from the ground up, including PCB design and basic code development. This allows RAD to have full control over all design elements, performance, quality and user experience of all security robots, which SCOT™PINK™Wally™Wally ASS™AV™ROAMEO™or RAD Light My Way™.
